Nebula 2x72 - Corvus Edition: an exclusive Gunmetal Grey / silver vein powdercoat finish on our precision-engineered steel 2×72.
These are the last Nebula chassis available until the next release. Once this run sells out, availability pauses until the next run is ready.
Next release: 10 more chassis expected Nov 17–Nov 24 (3–4 weeks from Oct 27).
Fiber-laser-cut 6061 aluminum on the 9x12-inch base. Easier to tilt and move, and corrosion resistant.

The steel machine, fully assembled and tested. Marked down from $1,195 while stock lasts.
TechTop TEFC 3,600 RPM motor with a sealed KBAC-27D drive, programmed and ready. 1 HP for $1,295 or 2 HP for $1,395.
Reaches the choils, finger grooves and inside curves a flat platen never will. Wheels from 1/2 to 1.5 inches.
Hollow grinds and fast profiling. An 8, 10, 12 or 14-inch wheel on a 16.5-inch solid aluminum arm.
A 4-inch throat for deep slack-belt work, with a 5/16-inch steel platen face for flats.
A 6x16-inch steel table that tilts and locks for repeatable bevels, and rotates 180 degrees for horizontal work.
A spare 17-inch solid aluminum arm so each platen, wheel and rest keeps its own. Swap in seconds, no tools.
4-inch for torque and control, 7-inch for belt speed. Keyed 5/8-inch bore.
Five small wheel sizes, sold individually.
The lower deflector wheel, sold separately.
Rubber gives the belt a little compliance, so it tracks steadier and chatters less on finishing passes.
The larger lower rubber wheel for the deep flat platen.
Three machined 6061 knobs on 5/16-18 rod. Spares for the one that walks off the bench.
Cam-action clamping to 2,500 pounds across 4x14-inch plates. Helps hold the blade flat, and gives you a fixture for warm straightening.
The last quench vises from this release. Once they are gone, availability pauses until the next run is ready.
Next release expected Nov 17–Nov 24 (3–4 weeks from Oct 27).
Build it out
Every Torus takes a standard 1.5-inch tooling arm, so each attachment rides its own and swaps without tools, and every one you add to an order counts toward the bundle discount.
Lineup features
Explore the materials, footprints, finishes and included features of the Classic, Nova and Nebula. Every Torus uses the same machined billet-aluminum dual-axis tracking head, 304 stainless ratchet tensioner and standard 1.5-inch tooling arms.
The Classic stands on a compact 9x9-inch base and clears a motor up to 12 inches long at horizontal; the Nova and Nebula stand on a 9x12-inch base with a taller frame.
Before you order
Straight answers, the same ones you would get if you emailed me.
Most orders ship in seven to ten business days from time of order. A more detailed delivery estimate will be given upon ordering your grinder. Every grinder is built to order; accessories, backlog or custom powder coat can add time. You get a tracking number the day it leaves Sterling.
Domestic shipping is calculated at checkout. Grinders are heavy, so international orders are quoted per order: email me your address and what you want and I will send you a rate. Local pickup at 1741 Industrial Drive Unit #8 in Sterling, Illinois is also an option.
Contact me first, within two weeks of arrival, and I approve returns case by case. Because every machine is built to order, approved returns carry a 25% restocking fee, you cover insured return shipping, and the original shipping is not refunded. Full terms are on the returns and warranty page.
I warranty the non-wear parts of the grinder against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Belts, wheels and other wear items are not covered, and neither is damage from misuse or modification. Motors and VFDs carry their manufacturer's warranty and I walk you through any claim.
No. The grinder price is the chassis, and you can add a motor and VFD package at checkout or run your own. If you are sourcing one yourself, the budget motor and VFD page lists what I would buy.
Card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Link, Cash App and Amazon Pay, or pay over time with Affirm, Klarna or Afterpay, all at checkout over Stripe. Your card number never touches this site.
Still deciding
Tell me what you grind and how much room you have, and I will tell you which machine to buy, including when the cheaper one is the right answer.
