A 1.5 HP or 2 HP motor and a VFD provide variable speed for a 2×72. These are the models I have run.

Rubber cord, sized for the load. Do not run a grinder on lamp cord — see the wiring guide before you cut anything.

Buy the VFD programmed and mounted

I sell the motor and VFD as one tested package with the VFD programmed and mounted. You finish the cord and plug wiring with the supplied guide.
