Dates verified as of July 2026. Knife show dates get announced on a rolling basis, often less than a year out, so this list covers confirmed, currently-scheduled events rather than a guessed full year ahead. Several major annual shows (BLADE Show Atlanta, BLADE Show Texas, the Oregon Knife Show) already happened earlier in 2026 and haven’t announced 2027 dates yet, those will be added here once announced. Always confirm directly with the show before booking travel, dates and venues occasionally shift.

August 2026

Texas Knifemakers’ Guild Hammer-In — August 28-29, China Spring, Texas. A hands-on, member-focused event distinct from a pure sales show, a good one to know about if you’re pursuing Texas Knifemakers’ Guild certification specifically.

September 2026

Ohio Gun, Knife & Military Show — September 26-27, Summit County Fairgrounds, Akron/Tallmadge, Ohio. A broader gun-and-military show with a real knife presence, useful for Midwest makers who don’t want to travel as far as Atlanta or Salt Lake City.

October 2026

BLADE Show West — October 9-10, Salt Palace Convention Center, Salt Lake City, Utah. See Major Knife Shows Every Maker Should Know for what this show is known for.

Texas Custom Knife Show — October 17-18, Fort Worth, Texas. Described as one of the fastest-growing blade events in Texas, a strong regional option if you’re already covering the Texas Knifemakers’ Guild circuit.

California Custom Knife Show (CCKS), Fall — October 24-25, Warner Center Marriott, Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California. The West Coast’s dedicated custom knife show, separate from BLADE Show West.

November 2026

Art Knife Invitational — November 7-8, Palms Casino Resort, Las Vegas, Nevada. A smaller, high-end, invitational event for top-tier custom and art knives rather than a general open-table show, worth knowing about even if it’s not an entry-level venue for a first table.

Already Passed in 2026 (2027 Dates Not Yet Announced)

California Knife Expo (California Knifemakers Association) — was February 28, 2026, Brea Community Center, Brea, California. California Custom Knife Show (CCKS), Spring — was February 21-22, 2026, Costa Mesa, California. BLADE Show Texas — was March 20-21, 2026, Fort Worth. Northeast Cutlery Collectors Association Show — was March 7-8, 2026, Mystic, Connecticut. Oregon Knife Collectors Association Show — was April 2026, Eugene, Oregon. BLADE Show Atlanta — was June 5-7, 2026, Cobb Galleria, Atlanta. These all run annually, expect similar timing (late winter through early summer) for their next editions, but confirm directly with each show once new dates are posted rather than assuming an exact repeat date.

A Note on SHOT Show

The SHOT Show, held every January in Las Vegas, is a major firearms and outdoor industry trade show with a real knife industry presence, but it’s an industry trade event (manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and professional buyers), not an open consumer show, generally not a venue for an individual maker to set up a table and sell directly to the public.

Why doesn’t this cover a full year ahead?

Because most knife shows genuinely don’t announce dates that far out, publishing guessed dates would risk sending someone to book travel around information that turns out to be wrong. This list only includes dates confirmed by the shows themselves.

Is this list complete?

No, it focuses on major national and larger regional shows with confirmed dates. Many smaller local gun-and-knife shows happen year-round across the country and aren’t practical to track exhaustively here, a regional gun show listing site is a better resource for that level of local detail.
