Returns & Refunds Policy

I take pride in the quality of my products and the craftsmanship that goes into every Torus CNC grinder. Please review the following policy carefully before purchasing.

Returns — Buyer Responsibility

  • Returns are accepted on a case-by-case basis and must be approved in advance.
  • The buyer is responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • Returned items must be insured for the full purchase price.
  • Torus CNC is not responsible for loss or damage incurred during return shipping.

Restocking Fee

  • As a craft manufacturer, all grinders are built to order.
  • Approved returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee.
  • Original shipping costs are non-refundable.

Condition of Returned Items

  • Returned items must be received in original or equivalent condition.
  • If an item is returned damaged, a partial refund or no refund may be issued depending on the extent of damage.
  • Torus CNC cannot absorb losses caused by improper packaging or damage during return transit.

Warranty

Grinder Warranty

  • Torus CNC warrants non-wear components of the grinder against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for 10 years.
  • Wear items and damage caused by misuse, modification, improper installation, or lack of maintenance are not covered.
  • If an issue arises, please contact us so we can evaluate and determine the appropriate resolution.

Motor & VFD Warranty

  • Motors and VFDs are covered under the 1year original manufacturer’s warranty:
  • Warranty claims for these components must be handled directly through the respective manufacturer.

Chargebacks & Dispute Resolution

By completing a purchase, the buyer agrees to the following:

  • Customers must contact Torus CNC directly to resolve any issues before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute.
  • Filing a chargeback without first attempting resolution may be considered a violation of this policy.
  • Torus CNC reserves the right to contest chargebacks with documentation including:
    • Order records
    • Shipping confirmation
    • Safety acknowledgement
    • This published policy

This process helps resolve issues faster and avoids unnecessary fees for both parties.

Bad-Faith Purchasing Policy

By placing an order on TorusCNC.com, you certify that you are not:
Acting on behalf of a legal adversary, competitor, or former employer with intent to collect evidence, reverse engineer, or evaluate Torus CNC products for litigation or competitive intelligence.
Engaging in deceptive purchasing or unauthorized testing, teardown, or legal trap activity.
Attempting to circumvent our sales, warranty, or legal safeguards.
Torus CNC reserves the right to cancel and refund any order suspected to be made in bad faith or with malicious intent. All purchases are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, with venue in Sterling, IL.
