Power your belt grinder setup with one of our single speed, IRON HORSE TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan-Cooled) 3,600 RPM 56C face mount electric motors, available in 1hp, 1.5hp, and 2hp options. These motors provide robust, reliable power for your grinding tasks, from general metalworking to heavy-duty material removal.

Motor Options:

1hp Motor (120V):

Ideal for lighter grinding tasks, this motor offers plenty of power for general metalworking, sharpening, and hobbyist knifemaking. With a paddle switch, 120V plug and an 6ft 14-gauge 3 prong power cord, it’s a great entry-level motor for those looking to get into grinding.

2hp Motor (220V)

If you’re tackling heavy-duty material removal, or larger-scale metalworking projects, this is the motor for you. The 2hp single speed, 1phase motor delivers maximum power for more aggressive grinding, allowing you to work faster and more efficiently. It’s wired with a paddle switch, 220V plug and an 8ft 12-gauge rubber power cord, along with a matching receptacle. Perfect for those who need the extra horsepower to get through tougher materials with ease.

WARRANTY:

All warranty issues relating to motor are to be handled through the respective OEM, Contact me at rich.linville@toruscnc.com for guidance with warranty problems. We will not cover any cost where a motor was subject to any improper installation, abuse, modifications, neglect, misuse, exposure to moisture or dampness or any unauthorized repair. Iron horse motors have a 1year warranty. To make a warranty claim please remove the nameplate and follow the Warranty Returns Procedures outlined above. Please note that Customer must return the motor nameplate and provide failure reason in order to make a warranty claim.
