The Torus Tilting 3×79 Belt Grinder Chassis is a powerhouse in your workshop. Whether you prefer to grind in the vertical or horizontal position, this grinder has you covered. It ships partially assembled. I will have a video tutorial on how to complete the assembly, it’s very straightforward. No welding or major assembly required.

Choose Your Belt Tensioner:

You have two options for the belt tension system, and it’s all about personal preference:

• Ratchet-Style Belt Tension system: Never wears out and provides consistent performance. Sought after option.

• Suspa USA Gas Shock Tension System: Reliable and smooth, with a trusted brand backing it. Not as robust as the ratchet system but preferred by some.

Compatibility:

The Torus – 3×79 is built to work with industry-standard 1.5-inch square tooling bars.

Variable Speed Motors with VFD:

1hp with KBAC 24 VFD, wired for 120V single phase. Not recommended for the TORUS-3×79 grinder.
1.5hp with KBAC 27D VFD, wired for 120V single phase. May be slightly underpowered for the TORUS-3×79 grinder.
2hp with KBAC 27D VFD, wired for 220V single phase. Recommended motor combo for the TORUS 3×79 grinder.

• 7-inch drive wheels available with 5/8 bore.
