budget motor and vfd’s

We all want the best, but sometimes we just need something that will get us started with a smaller budget. These motor and VFD options will give you some extra money in your pocket if you’re willing to do a bit of wiring yourself. It’s really not that hard to DIY the motor and vfd. Inexpensive vfd for 220v single phase

This vfd will get you up and running for a fraction of the price. It’s not in the best enclosure but it’ll work as long as you keep it somewhat protected.

Pretty much the industry standard, high end, vfd for knifemaking grinders.

1.5hp 3 phase motor

In order to use a vfd, you need a 3 phase motor. (The vfd will convert the single phase to 3- phase)
